Works OK, Shutter lag and battery consumption lacking.

| I got this camera initially for security but then relegated it to wildlife duty. The unit does work and takes reasonable pictures, but I wish I'd spent a little more money or found a nicer one. The night pics aren't that great (a bit grainy) and the shutter takes a good long while to kick in - I say three or four seconds or so after the motion sensor is tripped. The battery life was about a week under normal use for my situation, so be prepared to replace them often. The day pics we're very good, though. I also found the controls a bit confusing - and I'm a videographer by trade. I wish there were simple toggle switches or menus instead of having to go through a long string of options one at a time - all of which use confusing icons or codes to manipulate. |
Works Good

After checking it out over nite, I was ready to deploy it. Found the video quality to be somewhat lacking, but the still pictures are great. Found the "burst mode" to work very well and in fact using the burst mode and taking multiple pictures 4 to 5 seconds apart was as informative as a video would have been.
For the money, this camera is great and would recommend it to anyone needing such a device. I am using it as a security device for my home and am well satisfied. Will consider a more advanced model from this vendor in the future. |

ok so i wanted to upgrade from my old trail camera(big mistake)
didnt want to spend a ton of money so i bought what i thought was a decent camera, after all i bought 3 of them (differant brand) a couple years ago for 88 dollars each on amazon and they were great so i bought here again.
this camera is not used for hunting, its used to keep an eye on our camp that we only visit on weekend a couple times a month
its a good thing i kept my old ones,
First off it eats batteries so i bought the adapter and a lead acid battery. problem solved there
unit turns off by it self when it wants to
once the battery is disconnected you loose you setting , month day etc
complicated to set up
will not take pictures at night, Ir does not work as it should.
called the factory no response.
sent an email no response
but i can say when it works the pictures are clear but only during the day pics at night are just a black screen.
wont buy another one, just put the old ones back up they work perfect.
newer is not always better !!!
